حوى كتاب السرائر للشيخ ابن إدريس جملة متناثرة من الدراسات اللغويَّة، استعان بها لبيان الفتاوى والأحكام الشرعيَّة والفقهيَّة، وقد حاولت في هذا البحث تسليط الضوء عليها، فوسمته بـ(الذخيرة اللغويَّة في كتاب السرائر لابن إدريس الحِلِّيّ 598هــ).
وقد كشف البحث عن موارده اللغويَّة، وكانت ممَّا ذكره من الكتب والأعلام، وسماعه من شيوخه ومعاصريه، واعتماده على الشواهد والأدلَّة من القرآن الكريم والحديث الشريف وكلام العرب شعره ونثره.
لقد ظهر أنَّ الشيخ كان على درجةٍ عاليةٍ من الوثاقة فيما نقل، واهتمَّ بالضبط اللغويّ الذي تعدَّدت مظاهره ووسائله، فضلًا عن تنوُّع دراساته اللغويَّة.

Al-Saraier's book by Sheikh Ibn Idris contained a scattered group of linguistic studies, which he used to explain the fatwas and legal and juristic rulings, and I have attempted in this research to show these studies Therefore, I called it: (Linguistic thesaurus In (Al-Saraier) book by Ibn Idris Al-Hilli (598 A.H)).
The research revealed his linguistic resources, which were what he mentioned from books and scholars, and hearing from his shikhs and contemporaries, And its dependence on the evidence from the Holy Qur’an, the Holy Hadith and the words of the Arabs from poetry and prose.
It appeared that the Sheikh was highly confident in what he wrote And interested in the language accuracy, Whose manifestations and means are numerous,As well as the diversity of his language studies.
